Summary:
As a Restaurant Host at Restaurant Name , you will greet and welcome guests with a smile, manage reservations, seat guests, and provide them with menu information.
Your goal will be to ensure that every guest feels valued and leaves with a memorable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
Manage reservations and organize the seating chart efficiently.
Assist guests in finding appropriate seating based on their preferences and party size.
Provide guests with information about the restaurant's menu, specials, and promotions.
Maintain a neat and organized host stand area.
Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of service.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and courteously.
Keep track of waiting lists and notify guests when their table is ready.
Monitor and manage the dining room to ensure proper table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Cooperate with the restaurant team to provide exceptional service to guests.
Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Positive attitude and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills.
